2010 DANNY DIFOLCO Colorado Shining Stars Black
The versatile 6-3 swingman from Dakota Ridge High School in Littleton, Colo., averaged
16.0 points for Colorado Shining Stars Black as they became the first team from
Colorado to win the Mr. Basketball Invitational. DiFolco twice went for 23 or
more points during the teams 7-0 run through pool and tournament play. At Dakota
Ridge, DiFolco was a two-time All-Conference performer.

2009 WESTON FOXHOVEN Going Vertical
The senior-to-be from Crofton High School in Crofton, Nebraska, averaged
12.8 points for Going Vertical as they went a perfect 8-0
during en route to the title during the 18th Annual Mr. Basketball Invitational. Foxhoven, a 6-foot-7 post averaged 16.0 points for
Crofton during the
regular season and was a three time Honorable Mention All-State selection.

2008 KAMERON CERRONI Wisconsin Playground Warriors
The junior-to-be from Hamilton High School in Sussex, Wisconsin, averaged
17.6 points for the Wisconsin Playground Warriors as they went a perfect 8-0
during en route to the title during the 17th Annual Mr. Basketball Invitational. Cerroni, a 6-foot-2 guard averaged 27.1 points for
Sussex Hamilton during the
regular season and was named a first-team All-State and All-Conference
Selection.

2007 JOHNIE SANDERS MSB Roadrunners
The 6-foot-3 guard from Eastview High School in Apple Valley, Minnesota, led
his squad to the 16th Annual Mr. Basketball Invitational title. The Roadrunners
became the first team from Minnesota to capture the Mr. Basketball title. He
averaged 12.3 points per game during the tourney, including 12 points in a 71-60
win over the Iowa Barnstormers in the final.

2006 MIKE PAJOR South Dakota Storm
The Sioux Falls Lincoln High School guard averaged 17.0 points per game
while leading the South Dakota Storm to the 2006 Mr. Basketball championship. He
scored a game high 22 in the final. It marked the first time a South Dakota team
had won the event. Pajor, a senior-to-be, averaged 14.2 points as a junior for
Lincoln HS.

2005 KENDALL FRANTZ Nebraska High 5 East
The 6-foot-2 Lincoln East point guard quarterbacked the High 5 squad to a
perfect 8-0 record in the event while averaging 12.5 points per game. He will be
a senior this fall. As a junior he averaged 10.1 points and and 5.2 assists for
the 14-7 Spartans. Frantz has signed with NCAA Division II Southwest Baptist in
Missouri.

2004 MATT MILLER North Wisconsin Saints
Only the second player under 6-foot tall to be named MVP in the 13 year history
of Mr. Basketball, Matt Miller led the North Wisconsin Saints to the 2004 title.
As a junior at Hudson, Wisc., the 5-foot-10 Miller averaged 18.5 points and 4.1
assists for the 15-8 squad. During Mr. Basketball, Miller averaged 16.8 points a
game, including six games of 16 or more.

2003 JOSH DOTZLER Omaha Crusaders I
Only the third point guard to be named MVP in the twelve year history of Mr.
Basketball, Josh Dotzler led the Omaha Crusaders to the 2003 title. As a
sophomore at Bellevue West High School in Bellevue, Neb., the 6-foot Dotzler
averaged 15 points and 6 assists for the 15-5 Thunderbirds. During Mr.
Basketball, Dotzler averaged 15 points a game, including four games of 18 or
more. He has verbally committed to the University of Creighton basketball
program.

2002 BRIAN BUTCH
Fox Valley Skillz I
The first 7-foot MVP at Mr. Basketball, the Appleton, Wisconsin, native averaged
17.0 points per game as the Fox Valley Skillz squad improved on its Final Four
finish in the 2001 tourney by winning the 2002 Mr. Basketball title. Butch was
the Wisconsin Player of the Year as a junior while leading Appleton West High to
the state quarterfinals and a 21-3 record. He averaged 22.6 points and 12.7
rebounds per contest. Rated by most recruiting publications as one of the top
ten players in the country, Butch narrowed his list to Arizona, Kansas,
Marquette, North Carolina and Wisconsin before opting to stay in his home state
and play for the Wisconsin Badgers.
Butch moved into 7th on the all-time Mr. Basketball scoring charts with a total
of 213 points in 14 games during the 2001 & 2002 tournaments.

2001 JASON DOURISSEAU Tournament Gold I
Dourisseau, a 6-5 guard from Burke High School in Omaha, Nebraska, averaged
17.6 points per game in leading his team to the 2001 Mr. Basketball title. He
tallied 16 points in the championship win over Martin Bros. Select. Dourisseau
led Burke to the state semi-finals as a junior and senior, including a 17-5
record while averaging 18 points as a senior. He now plays for the Big 12's
University of Nebraska Cornhuskers.

2000 STEVE TURNER West Central Gunners I
Turner, a 6-2 guard from Richwoods High School in Peoria, Illinois, averaged
17.0 points per game in leading his team to the 2000 Mr. Basketball title. He
tallied 17 points in the championship win over NW Ohio Basketball. Turner led
Richwoods to a 26-7 record and a 4th place finish in the Illinois state
tournament while averaging 11 point and 3 assists per game. Turner now plays for
NCAA Division I Chicago St. University.
2000 All-Americans
1999 RICHARD ROSS Valentino's Nebraska Red All-Stars
Ross, a 6-4 forward from Lincoln High School in Lincoln, NE, averaged
18.9 points per game in leading his team to the 1999 Mr. Basketball title. He
paced the Red team with 25 points in the final. At the Kentucky Prep
Festival a week after Mr. Basketball, Ross scored 42 in a championship game loss
to Spiece Gym Rats from Indiana. An outstanding receiver in football and jumper
in track, he was named the 2000 Nebraska high school athlete of the year. Ross
signed with the University of South Dakota to play basketball, but now plays
football for the nationally ranked University of Nebraska-Kearney.
1998 TANNER ENGEL Valentino's Nebraska Sr. All-Stars
Engel helped lead a balanced squad of Nebraska all-staters to the 1998 Mr.
Basketball title. Engel, a 6-5 forward, led Val's with 19 points in the
title game vs. Team Nebraska. A starter since a freshman for Kearney, Neb.,
Engel averaged 22 points and 10 rebounds as a junior. Tanner played as a
freshman at NCAA Division I Lehigh University, before transferring back to the
University of Nebraska-Kearney where he was a junior in 2001-02.
1997 MIKE HAHN Omaha Godfather's Red
Hahn led a super-talented squad of Nebraska players who broke a majority of the
team scoring records during their run through the 1997 Mr.
Basketball Invitational. Hahn, a 6-7 forward, propelled to Godfather's to the
title with 17 points per game. A two-time all-Stater, Hahn was a key part of
four consecutive Class A (big school) state championships for the Lincoln
Northeast Rockets. Hahn finished his college career in 2001-02 at Pacific
University.
1996 TYRUS BOSWELL Birmingham Magic
Boswell is one of the most exciting players to ever suit up at Mr. Basketball.
He wowed the crowds with high flying dunks, strong inside play and the ability
to drain the three. He led Mountain Brook, AL High School, to a 30-4 season as a
junior. He paced Mountain Brook with 25 points and 12 boards a contest. During
the Mr. Basketball Invitational, he averaged 19.0 points while leading the Magic
to the tourney title. Boswell played college ball at Mississippi St. University
before transferring to NCAA Division II Kentucky Wesleyan which won the 2002
National Title.
1995 JIMMY SANDERS Team Illinois
This 5-7 explosive point guard led Team Illinois to a perfect 7-0 record,
the first time a Mr. Basketball champion finished undefeated. Sanders
scored 25 in the championship game, including the winning shot at the buzzer
against Minnesota Heat. The shot gave the Chicago players an 81-79 victory.
Sanders averaged 20 points per game in Mr. Basketball. He was also named the MVP
of the AAU 17 & Under National Tournament, which Team Illinois won as well.
1994 JARAAN CORNELL Tiffany's AAU
Cornell had an outstanding career at Purdue University. As a senior in 2000,
Cornell averaged 13 points whiled leading the Boilermakers to the NCAA Elite 8.
He averaged 15 points as a junior when Purdue made it to the NCAA Sweet 16. He
led Clay High School in South Bend, Indiana, to the 1994 Indiana state title as
a sophomore while averaging more than 16 points. He averaged 22.5 points during
the 1994 Mr. Basketball Invitational while leading the Hoosier squad to the
tourney title. He was a Parade All-American and one of the top 30 players in the
country as a prep senior.
1993 TADERAL PRATT Chicago Demons
Pratt, a 6-6 forward, played as a junior and senior at the U. of North
Carolina-Wilmington after leading Indian Hills Junior College in Iowa, to the
1997 JUCO National Championship. Pratt held the Mr. Basketball career scoring
record with 232 points in two years, until it was surpassed during the 1997
tourney.
1992 DEREK HOOD Lawrence, Kansas
Hood, one of the most decorated alumni of the Mr. Basketball Invitational,
is now playing in the CBA after an outstanding career at the U. of Arkansas.
Hood is only the second Razorback to surpass 1,000 career rebounds with 1,002.
He helped lead Arkansas to the NCAA 2nd Round in 1999 with 12.4 points and 10.3
rebounds per game as a senior. As a high school senior at Kansas City, MO
Central High School, he averaged 16 points and 20 rebounds, along with 6 blocks.
He was rated one of the top 10 players in the country by almost every
publication.
1992 ANDY MARKOWSKI Grand Island, Nebraska
Markowski, a standout at Ord High School, went on to play for the Nebraska
Cornhuskers and is now an assistant coach at NCAA Division I Bowling Green
